Nurses for America (NFA)says its core team of nurse leaders voted to support Maria as a Democratic candidate for Ohio’s 14th Congressional District.

In its endorsement, NFA cited Maria’s commitment to a range of issues affecting health care, families, communities, and individual rights:

“Your commitment to Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, protecting our environment, gun safety, voting rights, comprehensive reproductive health services, LGBTQ+ rights, gender affirming care, affordable access to health care, disability rights, and public broadcasting matches our NFA mission.”

Nurses for America is a national nursing organization organized around nursing, health access and equity, reproductive rights, voting rights, human rights, gun safety, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and environmental health.
