The truth is that the vast majority of people in Ohio’s 14th want the same basic things. They want to afford a doctor’s visit without losing sleep over the bill. They want to retire with dignity. They want their kids to have real opportunities. They want a government that plays by the same rules it asks everyone else to follow.

The retired autoworker in Warren and the small business owner in Willoughby didn’t vote the same way last November. But they both need Social Security to be there. They both need healthcare they can afford. They’re both watching their grocery bills climb while corporations post record profits. They both feel like Washington works for someone else — just not for them.

That’s not a left problem or a right problem. That’s an everybody problem. And it has an everybody solution.

The Massive Middle is not about splitting the difference between two extremes. It is not about being evasive or refusing to take a stand. To keep us fighting each other while the powerful few walk off with everything.
