Democratic congressional candidate highlights the concerns of everyday Ohioans, calls for accountability in Washington, and seeks to bring voters together.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — EASTLAKE, Ohio, October 21, 2026 — Maria Jukic, Democratic candidate for Ohio’s 14th Congressional District, has released three new campaign commercials. The videos are the latest effort from a campaign built on individual donations, grassroots support, and the hard work of volunteers.
The videos bring together the central themes of Jukic’s campaign: making life more affordable, restoring accountability in Washington, and finding common ground across political divides.
Throughout her campaign, Jukic has traveled across the district’s six counties, meeting with residents, listening to their concerns, and discussing the challenges facing Northeast Ohio families.
“Everywhere I go, I meet people who are working hard, doing their best,” said Jukic. “People are worried about paying their bills, affording healthcare, protecting their retirement, and making sure their children have opportunities. Those are the people I want to represent.”
Together, the three videos explore the concerns Maria has heard throughout her campaign: the everyday challenges facing working families, the common ground Americans share despite political differences, and growing frustration with dysfunction and a lack of accountability in Washington.
At their heart is a simple message: Americans deserve honest leadership that listens, puts people ahead of partisan politics, and works toward meaningful change.
Jukic, an attorney, former Euclid City Council member, Fulbright Fellow, and longtime Cleveland Clinic professional, is challenging incumbent Congressman Dave Joyce in the November 3 general election.
“This election is about the kind of representation the people of Northeast Ohio deserve,” said Jukic. “We don’t have to agree on everything to recognize that something needs to change. We need leaders who listen, who show up, and who are willing to work for the people they represent.”
